Making BT/MT publicly accessible:
According to the Higher Education Act, “The University shall make available to the public, without undue delay, on its website, on a not-for-profit basis, bachelor’s, master’s, dissertation and rigorous theses that have been defended”, it is valid that “by submitting the thesis, the author agrees to make his/her thesis available to the public according to the Act, regardless of the outcome of the defense”. It is important that this is taken into account by the supervisor of the thesis and, above all, by the student producing the thesis. After the BT/MT defense, it is impossible to request that the thesis not be made available for any reason!
The procedure for requesting a postponement of access to the thesis is described in Dean’s Decree RD/03/25 – Procedure for requesting a postponement of access to the thesis.
Commercial use of BT/MT:
If the practical part of the BP/DP will be used commercially in the future, according to SR/23/2024 “Rules for the commissioning and processing of bachelor’s, master’s and rigorous theses, their storage, accessibility and control of originality”, it is necessary to draw up a Licence Agreement between the University and the student on the terms of use of the school work (see the model in Annex 3 of the above-mentioned Directive).
