In order to get more information about your possibilities regarding outgoing mobility, we recommend you to contact first your faculty coordinator or International Office. Faculty might be coordinator of specific mobility project (under ESF, CEEPUS etc.). In case you will not be able to find anything suitable, please check the following programmes (application must be submitted by the employee).

AKTION

AKTION Czech Republic – Austria is a programme for funding bilateral cooperation in education and research at tertiary level. The programme AKTION was launched in 1992 as a joint programme of both countries’ Ministry of Education.

The programme AKTION is focused on fostering mutual understanding between the Czech Republic and Austria. It supports the enhancement of bilateral cooperation in research and education in all scientific areas.

Scholarships are available for teachers and post-docs.

CEEPUS

The Central European Exchange Program CEEPUS III focuses on the regional cooperation of universities in the context of mobility networks. The international CEEPUS III Agreement has been updated and extended until 2025.

The CEEPUS agreement was signed by the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Austria, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia.

Under the program it is possible to apply for individual mobility (freemover format) or within network (FaME + FT). However, the emphasis is given primarily on networking activities.

Scholarship is provided by the receiving institution. TBU covers the cost of travel to and from the place of destination.

DAAD

DAAD – (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) is the most important German organization dealing with the international cooperation of higher education institutions and the international exchange of students and scientists.

Fulbright scholarship for scholars and lecturers

The Fulbright Commission is a Czech-American governmental organization founded with the mission to enhance educational, scientific and cultural exchanges through scholarship programs and advising and information services.

The prestigious Fulbright Program sponsored by U.S. and Czech governments provides U.S. and Czech citizens with the opportunity to study, teach, or conduct research in the partner country.
