
A new impulse for IT refugee training
24. February 2025On January 29, 2025, a meeting of the Board of Incubating Freedom for Ukraine occurred where representatives of leading academic institutions met. This hybrid meeting has allowed participants to share, discuss current challenges, and formulate a strategy for further development of IT training for refugees.
The participants inspired each other during the discussion and shared valuable experiences. Representatives of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Eötvös Lorand University and the University of Gdańsk presented their knowledge and visions for the project’s future. The Vice-Rector Marek Kubalčík and coordinator, Vice-Dean of FAI Martin Hromada, who have shown that academic cooperation is crucial in search of innovative solutions for current global challenges, were actively contributed by Tomas Bata in Zlín.
The meeting confirmed that joint efforts can create models that expand the possibilities of IT training and strengthen refugee communities’ integration and professional growth. The Incubating Freedom for Ukraine project inspires other institutions that seek sustainable development and effective responses to current socio-economic challenges.
